Virtual Reality (VR) Therapy
At Lifeline, we’re always exploring innovative ways to support healing. Virtual Reality (VR) Therapy combines proven therapeutic methods with immersive technology to help you safely face challenges, practice new skills, and create lasting change.
What is Virtual Reality (VR) Therapy?
Virtual Reality Therapy uses specialized headsets to create interactive, lifelike environments that support evidence-based treatment. Clients can explore calming nature scenes for mindfulness, practice coping skills in realistic situations, or engage in carefully guided exposure exercises—all while remaining in the comfort and safety of our office.

How It Helps
-
Anxiety & Phobias – Gradually face fears (like flying, driving, or public speaking) in a controlled, supportive setting.
-
Trauma Processing – Pair VR with therapies such as EMDR or CBT to safely revisit memories and practice regulation skills.
-
Mindfulness & Relaxation – Immerse yourself in peaceful landscapes that promote deep breathing and nervous-system calm.
-
Skill Building – Rehearse real-world situations, from social interactions to stress management, in a private environment.
What to Expect
During your session, you’ll wear a lightweight headset while your therapist guides the experience. You remain in full control—you can pause or stop at any time. Sessions are tailored to your needs and can be combined with other therapies such as EMDR, CBT, or traditional talk therapy.
